I'm celebrating my 21st birthday party soon and I need a simple but catchy title for invitations through facebook(Like birthday bash or extravaganza but not that cheesey). The theme is GI Joes and Army Hoes and my apartment (where my party is going to be held) is 604 so maybe include that in it.
I'm turning 21 next Friday, having a birthday party the following weekend at my house for various good reasons. I've never had a birthday party before or any party before for that matter. But, I totally forgot about food (mainly was interested in the alcohol). I kinda figured we'd order pizzas, since everyone loves pizza and we can get different toppings for different tastes. But my brother in law suggested getting a crock pot for dipping things, and chips, and that's all I can think of, really. What's good food for a 21-26 crowd, mostly guys with higher metabolisms/guys that eat a lot? I've got some meat eaters and some vegetarians coming, and then a few (very few) omnivores. Less expensive food is good. Please help! 8-15 guests, if that helps. The girls coming aren't really of the "dainty" variety either.
I am planning on throwing my son a birthday party in November and am inviting quite a few of his little cousins that range in age from 1-4. I would like to have a special selection of foods for them, what are some ideas? Are there any websites with kid menus/recipes? Thanks for your answers!
Once a month on a Sunday we get together with my husband's side of the family and celebrate birthdays for everyone who's birthday falls in that month. But my daughter says she wants to have a birthday party she can invite friends to. Since we moved recently though we've only remained friends with one family who has a 4 year old and 1 year old. We can't have the party on her actual birthday since my husband has to be to somewhere that Saturday. Would it be appropriate to have a birthday party for her on a weekday and only invite them. And celebrate with my husband's family on the Sunday. And also go to my own parent's on her actual birthday to let them give her gifts while my husband is gone? Would this be overspoiling her or would it be appropriate considering the circumstances? And what should we do for her party? Should we have it at our house, or should we take the kids out to a soft play land or McDonalds or a park or swimming or something else? It will be four adults, two 4 year olds, a 2 year old, a 1 year old, and a 7 months old. And it will take place some time during the last 2 weeks in March.
